     Knowledge building

All companies have past studies, tests, groups, usage and attitude surveys, observation studies, habits and such like in their archives. They might be an archive, a database, a cupboard or simply a directory of files. It’s worth hanging on to these anyway, they cost enough in the first place!

Now these studies will have mostly satisfied the objectives that they were set at the time and then put away for a day when they might be worth a second look.

That second look can be a broader look and with the right methods, can often yield more than the first (maybe time-pressured) study.
